In order to get monetized on YouTube, you must first have a Google AdSense account. Once you have that set up, you need to go to your YouTube channel’s page and click on the “monetization” tab. From there, you will be able to select which types of ads you would like to run on your videos and also set up a payment threshold, meaning that you won’t get paid until your earnings reach a certain amount. There are also other requirements that must be met in order for your channel to be eligible for monetization, such as having at least 4000 public watch hours in the last 12 months and having at least 1000 subscribers.
